Adrian White Dip F.D M.B.I.F.D – Company Director, Funeral Director

Adrian was born at 138-139 East Reach, our current premises when the White Family still resided above the offices, in the March of 1953. He was a boarding student at Chard Boys School up until he left school to attend College in Weston.

After working for the family business while on his summer holidays, Adrian joined his Father in the Family Business and continued in both Ernest and Percy’s footsteps. Successfully earning his qualifications, Dip F.D in 1972 and M.B.I.F.D in 1975.

Adrian became a Director of the Company in 1986 and has amassed over 45 years of experience as a Funeral Director often serving different generations of the families he cares for.

In his spare time Adrian enjoys spending time with his sons Charlie and Harvey, playing skittles and watching sports.

SUSAN WHITE Dip I.F – Company Director, Funeral Director, Florist

Susan Estelle White, was born October 1953, right here on East Reach.

Sue was educated in what was St Joseph’s Convent, and after leaving school decided to train as a florist. In 1973 she qualified with a Diploma in Interflora and started working for a local company.

In 1982 she entered the family business, and begun her career in the funeral trade. Sue is an accomplished Funeral Director and takes great pride in aiding her families in their time of need. She hasn’t forgotten her roots though and is still providing beautiful funeral flowers today.

In her spare time she enjoys taking her Dog Saszi for long walks and a glass of wine!

Charlie White BA (Hons) – Funeral Director

Charlie John White was in born June 1998 at Musgrove Park Hospital here in Taunton.

Charlie was educated locally at Queens College where he enjoyed the many opportunities that he was afforded, particularly enjoying his rugby and the many trips he undertook.

After receiving a degree from Swansea University in War and Politics, Charlie entered the family business in 2019 and in doing so has taken the business into its fourth generation. Charlie views funerals as a celebration of life and ensures he is able to deliver that to his families and their loved one.

In his spare time he enjoys watching sport, a visit to the pub and currently serves as an Army Reservist.

Mark Delahay FBCA, ICCM – Funeral Director

Mark James Delahay was born in Anglesey North Wales in Oct 1971.

Mark was educated at Brymore school in Bridgwater and boarded there full time gaining many life skills in what was a very hands-on school with many opportunities offered, he particularly enjoyed Rugby and Athletics. After leaving Brymore in 1988, Mark was a qualified stock man and worked on a local farm.

In 2000, Mark entered the Bereavement service at Taunton Deane Crematoruim. Over the 22 years’ service there, Mark accomplished the position as bereavement operation’s Manger and Diploma’s with the FBCA, ICCM in bereavement care with his passion of applying his experience of becoming a funeral Director in time.

In 2022, Mark joined E White and Sons Family Funeral Directors who he worked alongside for over 22 years in a professional setting and became a great friend of the family socially.

Mark has become an accomplished Funeral Director and is passionate in the delivery of care, support and service to the families of loved ones in his care.

In his Spare time, he enjoys time with his family, visits to the gym, and the occasional trip to the Pub.
